The Señorío de Montanera 100% Iberian Bellota Chorizo “Longaniza” (250 g) is a premium charcuterie product that captures all the richness of traditional Iberian chorizo in a different form, known as “longaniza” in Spain. This elongated shape offers an original presentation and a particularly enjoyable eating experience.
Señorío de Montanera is one of the leading names in the world of high-end Iberian products. The company is renowned for the quality of its products made from Iberian pigs raised using traditional methods, with particular care taken in the selection of meats and artisanal production.
This chorizo comes from 100% Iberian pigs raised free-range in the oak forests of the Extremadura region, one of the historic heartlands of the Iberian pig. The animals roam vast natural spaces in the heart of the dehesa.
During the montanera, the pigs feed on acorns, grasses, and roots. This natural diet contributes to the meat’s rich flavor, savory texture, and the characteristic aromatic depth of Iberian bellota products.
Longanisse, or “longaniza” in Spain, is a type of chorizo that differs from the traditional shorter, thicker variety. Its elongated shape makes it easy to slice with a knife and yields generous slices, ideal for an appetizer or a charcuterie platter.
With its 250 g size, this Iberian longanisse is perfect for enjoying at home, as an appetizer with friends, on a gourmet platter, or for discovering premium Iberian charcuterie.
We recommend slicing it by hand into slightly thick slices and serving it at room temperature to fully enjoy its texture, aromas, and the richness of bellota Iberian pork.
