Marqués de Griñon - Dominio de Valdepusa Syrah 2016

Made exclusively from vines grown on the clay-limestone soils of the Dominio de Valdepusa (Malpica de Tajo, Toledo), owned by the Marqués de Griñón family since 1292. Harvested by hand, followed by gravity discharge into fermentation tanks. Prolonged maceration up to 4 or 5 weeks and ageing in new and semi-new Allier French oak barrels for 12-15 months in a cellar at constant temperature.

Bright cherry color, garnet-red rim.

Aroma of old leather, tobacco, balanced, candied fruit.

In the mouth, full-bodied, spicy, long.
