We offer you this exceptional BIO Iberian bellota sliced lomo, from 100% free-range Iberian pigs raised in the oak forests of Extremadura in southern Spain.
Extremadura is the cradle of Iberian ham, with huge tracts of forest where each pig has at least one hectare to itself to feed on acorns. This means that 100 pigs will have at least 100 hectares to roam and feed on.
A pig will eat between 8 and 10 kgs of acorns a day, and will supplement its diet with roots and herbs.
In the case of organic lomo, the oak groves where the animals are raised are certified organic and guaranteed free of pesticides, treatments and GMOs.
