An excellent Pedro Ximénez sweet Andalusian wine. Enjoy as an aperitif or with dessert.
Made from sun-dried grapes and aged for 5 years in American oak barrels, using the traditional "criaderas y soleras" system.
Visually appealing, between icy brown and mahogany, with a color full of nuances and reflections of green and egg yolk. It is dense, making no noise as it falls into the cup.
On the nose, it expresses itself with density but does not saturate, showing ripe fruit accompanied by notes of toasted almond and burnt caramel, with hints of honey.
On the palate, it has a dense, creamy-syrupy feel, with a silky, energetic attack that pushes the wine into the mouth, only to slow down as it passes through due to its unctuousness, generating a light sensation that brings length and life to the palate.
To be enjoyed between 12-14º
Traditionally a dessert wine, it can also be a perfect mid-afternoon pleasure wine.
Widely used in cooking to make reductions.
