Cantabrian anchovies are Conservas Nardín’s flagship specialty. Renowned for their melt-in-your-mouth texture and exceptional flavor, they are among the finest semi-preserved anchovies in Spain.
The anchovies are caught in the Bay of Biscay during the spring months, the ideal time when they reach their peak quality and perfect size.
Nardín uses exclusively Engraulis encrasicolus anchovies, selected daily at the Getaria fish market thanks to the expertise of its master canners.
As soon as they arrive at the workshop, the anchovies are carefully cleaned by hand to remove all bones. They then undergo a traditional curing process in brine.
This artisanal process yields fillets that are particularly tender, flavorful, and well-balanced, highly prized by connoisseurs of gourmet anchovies.
The anchovies are hand-packed in high-quality olive oil to preserve their full flavor and aroma.
The 50 g can is perfect for serving to about 4 people, as an appetizer or in refined tapas.
Enjoy on toasted bread, with tomatoes, peppers, or in gourmet Mediterranean recipes.
