This white tuna, Thunnus alalunga, is the most coveted of canned fish, thanks to its juiciness and soft texture. It is carefully selected by the producer at the Getaria fish market, from among the best white tuna caught in the Gulf of Vizcaya during the summer season.
Prepared in the traditional way by expert hands under the supervision of master canners, and matured in specially selected olive oil for extraordinary flavor and texture. All white tunas are matured for a minimum of 2 years.
