Montesierra Pata Negra 100% Iberian Bellota Ham comes from purebred Iberian pigs raised in freedom in the dehesas of southwestern Spain. During the montanera, an essential period in Iberian breeding, the animals feed mainly on acorns and natural resources. This diet promotes the infiltration of fat into the meat and contributes to the characteristic aromatic richness of great Iberian bellota hams.
Montesierra, based in Andalusia in the Jabugo region, continues to uphold its renowned traditional expertise in the production of Iberian ham. The rigorous selection of cuts and adherence to artisanal methods ensure consistent quality and a refined taste.
